EL ARTE EN LO QUE FUE UNA ACADEMIA MILITAR/ ART IN WHAT WAS A MILITARY ACADEMY

Un antiguo edificio militar holandés transformado en galería de arte.

La rehabilitación fue llevaba a cabo por el estudio Bureau SLA.

Curiosa la transformación interior de lo que exteriormente parece una típica cabaña de esquí, se ha transformado en una mezcla de madera y materiales actuales, y que rodea a otra pequeña casa que contiene la la galería de arte.

An ancient Dutch military building turned into an art gallery. 

The restoration was carried out by  Bureau SLA study. 

Original inner transformation, what on the outside looks like a typical ski cabin, has become a blend of wood, surrounding another small house containing the art gallery.

LA DULZURA EN LA COCINA/ TENDERNESS IN A KITCHEN

La majestuosidad de los trabajos de interiorismo realizado por  Dimore Studio parece transportarnos a los años 50 a través de unas imágenes llenas de sobriedad y elegancia. 

Sus tonalidades rotundas en cada paño de pared se mezclan con la feminidad a la hora de elegir mobiliario y hacen una combinación perfecta y equilibrada.

The majesty of the interior work done by Dimore studio seems to transport us to the 50s through images full of sobriety and elegance. 

Their rotund shades in each wall  mixed with femininity  choosing furniture and make a perfect and balanced combination.

LA NOCHE EN BLANCO/ WHITE NIGHT

Y un poco de color en tonos muy sutiles, verdosos casi colocados por casualidad en un dormitorio. Los textiles se mezclan con materiales como el hierro, la madera y el cristal ofreciendo un ambiente neutro , con un suave predominio de un estilo romántico.

And a little color in very subtle, almost greenish accidentally placed in a bedroom. The textiles are mixed with materials such as iron, wood and glass offering a neutral environment, with a soft dominance of a romantic style.

Para la fotógrafa Karen Knorr, su viaje a Rajasthan, India supuso un cambio de vida. En 2008, la obra de Karen Knorr  explora el patrimonio cultural de Rajput y Mughal y su relación con las cuestiones de la subjetividad femenina y la animalidad. India Song, una serie de fotografías cuidadosamente elaborados explora el pasado y su relación con los sitios del patrimonio contemporáneo de la India a través de Rajasthan.

For the photographer Karen Knorr, her trip to Rajasthan, India was a life changing trip . In 2008, Karen Knorr's work explores the cultural heritage of Rajput and Mughal and the issues of female subjectivity and animality. India Song, a series of carefully crafted photographs explores the past and its relationship to contemporary heritage sites of India through Rajasthan.

Colonia 2014: dos casas revestidas de tejas convergen para formar Das Haus casa de este año de la futura instalación en la feria por la diseñadora Louise Campbell 

Das Haus es una comisión anual que permite a un diseñador de imaginar lo que su ideal futuro hogar sería.

Colchones enrollables, tonalidades suaves y una representación de lo masculino y lo femenino en una vivienda a través de la dos edificios de entramado de madera se cortan en un ángulo entre sí, con las vigas y pilares expuestos de color gris y blanco para distinguir las diferentes estructuras.

Cologne 2014: two coated shingle houses converge to form Das Haus home this year for future installation at imm cologne by Copenhagen designer Louise Campbell. 

Das Haus is an annual fee that allows a designer to imagine what your future dream home would be. 

soft textiles, soft shades and a depiction of male and female in a house across the two buildings timber frame are cut at an angle to each other, with exposed beams and pillars of gray and white to distinguish the different structures.

CEMENTO PULIDO Y EXOTISMO EN UNA VIVIENDA/ POLISHED CONCRETE AND EXOTIC IN A HOUSE

El cemento pulido es el protagonista de esta vivienda localizada en Amsterdam. Espacios de gran altura que han sido aprovechados al máximo y grandes ventanales para aprovechar la luz en la zona de día.
La madera ha sido utilizado en casi todo el mobiliario y se ha combinado con piezas de diseño como las sillas  plastic DSR o la butaca Plywood de los Eames. Las plantas y las figuras africanas aportan un toque exótico a esta casa.


The polished concrete is the protagonist of this property located in Amsterdam. High altitude areas have been maximized and large windows to take in the light of day.
Wood has been used in almost all the furniture and has been combined with designer pieces like chairs or DSR plastic chair Eames Plywood. Plants and African figures bring an exotic touch to this house.

FLORES FRESCAS EN EL DESPACHO/ FRESH FLOWERS IN THE OFFICE

Resulta siempre agradable recibir flores en casa, aunque no sean para mi. Aprovechando que  el despacho está en casa, cualquier excusa es buena para haberles dado lugar en mi mesa.
La sobriedad de la pared negra ( en la que ya estoy pensando en darle una nueva tonalidad)  la consigue anular este golpe de color.


It is always nice to receive flowers at home, but this time not  for me. Taking advantage of the office at home, any excuse to have given place at my table.
