ELEGANTE ECLECTICISMO / ELEGANT ECLECTICISM

Espectacular salón que descubrí ayer en la web de Nuevo Estilo de la arquitecta Eva Palao.
Un impresionante sofá en terciopelo negro, envuelto de tonalidades rosas y amarillas.
Una arquitectura de la vivienda sublime, con altos techos con molduras y pavimento hidráulico.
Las piezas vintage como el letrero sobre el sofá y las maletas Louis Vuitton forman un espacio cálido, mezclado con detalles industriales, dando un resultado de un  elegante eclecticismo.

Spectacular living room I discovered yesterday on the website of NUEVO ESTILO from the architect Eva Palao.

PEPPERMINT COLORS

Comenzamos la semana con una vivienda en tonos verdes peppermint. Un color, en principio, difícil  para una decoración, aunque en esta casa  el resultado son unos espacios calmados, sencillos y
perfectamente combinados.
Combinaciones de mobiliario antiguo, de diversas procedencias.

MEZCLA DE ESTILOS Y PAREDES EN BLANCO / MIX OF STYLES AND WHITE WALLS

Uno de los estilos con los que más me identifico: mezcla de estilos  y paredes en blanco.
Una vivienda es Sydney en los que pocos cambios estructurales de hicieron  antes de instalarse una pareja , en la que ella es estilista y sus dos hijos.
Suelos pintados en marrón oscuro y muros pintados de blanco. El resto lo hace el mobiliario y los objetos decorativos como sillas Thonet, lámparas marroquís o posters parisinos.

A FEMININE KITCHEN

Primer post del 2013 , y empezamos con una de las partes más concurridas de la casa: la cocina. 

Ésta, pertenece a un  apartamento en Nottting Hill.

Estéticamente me encanta la mezcla de estilos rústico, clásico y algún toque actual como los taburetes Charles Ghost.

Un estilo muy femenino gracias a sus chandeliers y el espejo  antiguo.

La parte negativa, la funcionalidad en cuanto a extracción de humos , inexistente.

MOSAICO HIDRAÚLICO Y MINIMALISMO / HYDRAULIC MOSAIC AND MINIMALISM

Este piso del Eixample barcelonés, una antigua editorial , consiguió transformarse en vivienda gracias al estudio MINIM.

Se mantienen intactos sus techos de cuatro metros de altura, las molduras  y rosetones.

El pavimento, el típico de esta zona, el mosaico hidráulico con formas florales en toda la vivienda.

El mobiliario, una acertada elección de sencillez, minimalismo y discrección para no restar protagonismo a esta vivienda.

Una casa que se alquila para rodajes en onlocations.com , por si estáis interesados.

UNA VIVIENDA NEUTRA LLENA DE COLOR / A NEUTRAL HOUSE FULL OF COLOR

Después del empacho Navideño, aquí hoy todavía es fiesta. No sé si sobreviviré un día más...Mañana os lo cuento , si lo consigo...

Mientras tanto, esta casa, encontrada en el blog "design sponge".

Me ha gustado la forma en la que , una vivienda totalmente neutra  le ha añadido color gracias a todos los complementos.

Piezas especiales para la propietaria, llenas de recuerdos, dibujos realizados por amigos, fotografías de su infancia, llenan las paredes de su casa.

Cojines realizados includo de lo que fueron sacos de cemento, otros realizados por su madre o hermana.

Un aparador antiguo repintado en gris , se llena de color , gracias a las pinturas y collages colocados encima de éste.

O un antiguo anuncio de cervezas que decora la pared de su cama.

Una casa vivida  y llena de objetos que ella misma ha ido seleccionando poco apoco, porque una hogar se construye así...sin prisas.

Feliz Navidad / Merry Christmas

Ya esta casi todo preparado para mañana. Celebramos la Nochebuena en casa de los abuelos.
Cada año se van turnando abuelos maternos y paternos.

Llegamos pronto y hacemos "cagar el tio" . Un tronco de madera al que golpeamos con una cuchara de madera mientras cantamos  que cague regalos y sino le golpearemos  con esta. Suena muy bruto , pero es muy divertido. Tapado medio cuerpo con una manta, al levantar esta, aparecen regalos y las niñas se vuelven locas de alegría cada vez que sale un regalo.

Con tres niñas en casa , con su inocencia, y su alegría desbordante y contagiosa la Nochebuena en casa es una fiesta que tarda en acabar.

No se cuanto tiempo más durara esta inocencia, porque están creciendo a una velocidad , que me da miedo y tristeza que algún día , no muy lejano, las Navidades en casa ya no serán las mismas.

Quisiera quedarme atrapada siempre , en estas fechas, en unas niñas que creen en el Tio, en Santa Klaus, en los Reyes Magos y en el Ratoncito Pérez ...porque la Navidad ya no será igual cuando la magia desaparezca de sus vidas.

Mientras esto pasa, disfrutaremos al máximo la noche de mañana.

Everything is almost ready for tomorrow. We celebrated Christmas Eve at grandparents' house. Each year we take turns maternal and paternal grandparents. We arrived early and we  do "cagar el tio" ?

A wooden trunk that beat with a wooden spoon while we sing that shit gifts but you strike with this. Sounds gross, but it's fun. Covering half body with a blanket, to lift this, are gifts and girls go crazy with joy every time I get a gift. With three children at home with their innocence, and their overflowing joy and contagious Christmas Eve is a holiday home it takes to finish. Not much longer will this innocence, because they are growing at a rate that gives me fear and sadness that someday soon,Christmas at home will never be the same. 

I would always get stuck, at this time, in little girls who believe in the Tio, Santa Klaus, in the Magic Kings and the Tooth Fairy ... 

 Because Christmas is no longer the same when the magic disappears from their lifes.

As this happens, we will enjoy full tomorrow night.
