UN ESTABLO TRANSFORMADO EN ESTUDIO Y HABITACIÓN DE HUÉSPEDES/ A STABLE AND TRANSFORMED IN STUDIO AND GUEST ROOM

Lo que fue un establo y garaje cuando fue comprado por los actuales propietarios de la propiedad, en las afueras de Seattle. Una pareja formada por dos artistas gráficos y pintor decidieron convertir el establo no utilizado en un espacio de estudio en el que poder trabajar y pintar y al mismo tiempo un espacio que funcionase como un espacio de invitados para los visitantes.

What it was once a stable and a garage when it was bought by the current owners of the property, on the outskirts of Seattle. A couple formed by graphic artists and painter decided to convert the stable not used in a flexible space that would work and study painting at the same time a space that would work as a guest space for visitors.

RENOVACIÓN DE UNA VIVIENDA VICTORIANA/ RENOVATION OF A VICTORIAN HOUSE

La renovación de una vivienda adosada orientada al sur para maximizar la luz solar, con una conexión desde el patio trasero y la adaptación contemporánea a la arquitectura victoriana original de la fachada.
La casa debía conservar  la parte original. Se creó un espacio de transición 'corredor' que conecta y trae la luz en la casa original . Una transición sin problemas entre el interior y el exterior se ha establecido sobre todo en la planta baja. una puerta de cristal  pivotante abre la sala a la terraza jardín  y promueve la luz solar en la planta longitudinal.

The renovation of a townhouse facing south to maximize sunlight, with a connection from the backyard and contemporary adaptation of the original Victorian architecture of the facade.
The house should retain the original part. a transitional space 'corridor' that connects and brings light into the original house was created. A smooth transition between interior and exterior has been established mainly on the ground floor. Pivoting glass door opens the room to the garden terrace and promotes the sunlight in the longitudinal plant.

CASA EN MARRUECOS: ARTESANÍA Y MATERIALES QUE TRANSMITEN FRESCURA/ HOUSE IN MOROCCO : CRAFTS AND FRESH MATERIALS

Dos arquitectos paisajistas que residen la mitad de su tiempo en una pequeña ciudad en el suroeste de Marruecos para disfrutar de sus experimentos en los alrededores de los jardines. 
A la entrada, se entra a un patio bañado por la luz, una de cuyas paredes estaban cubiertas con baldosas cerámicas impresas planta, diseñada por uno de ellos. 
Todos los elementos decorativos fueron hechas a medida por artesanos de la zona. Los bancos y cojines del salón estaban tapizados con prendas de vestir de la zona, así como las  alfombras que provienen de la tribu del desierto Aït Khebbach.

Two landscape architects living half his time in a small town in southwest Morocco to enjoy their experiments around dry gardens.
At the entrance, you enter a courtyard bathed in light, one of whose walls were covered with tiles printed ceramic floor, designed by one of them.
All decorative elements were custom made by local craftsmen. Banks and lounge cushions were upholstered with clothing in the area, and carpets that come from the desert tribe Aït Khebbach.

Una vivienda donde abundan los materiales nobles, blanco, elegante y luz natural de suelo a techo. Inspirado por sus  viajes, y por el diseño de los años 50, la artista deja su instinto en ella.

El resultado es una creatividad que se vislumbra en toda la casa.
Ya sea a nivel de las paredes de las cuales se modifica periódicamente las delicadas pinturas como objetos para los que se da forma a un diseño natural.

A house where noble, white, elegant and natural light from floor to ceiling materials abound. Inspired by his travels, and the design of the 50s, the artist lets his instinct in her.

TRANSFORMACIÓN DE UN ESTABLO EN FLANDES/ TRANSFORMATION OF A STABLE IN FLANDERS

La transformación de un pequeño granero en Flandes, Bélgica en una oficina que cuenta con una sala de conferencias, biblioteca y despacho. La fachada original del edificio fue restaurada, y se crearon  nuevas aperturas para aportar luz al interior del antiguo establo. Un interior actualizado ha sido equipado dentro del volumen original, y en lugar de añadir una planta adicional, una pieza autónoma de muebles hecha de vigas de madera apilados ha sido posicionado en el centro del espacio.

The transformation of a small barn in Flanders, Belgium in an office that has a conference room, library and office. The original facade of the building was restored, and new openings were created to bring light into the former stable. An updated interior has been fitted in the original volume, and instead of adding an extra floor, an autonomous piece of furniture made of stacked wood beams has been positioned in the center of the space.

La ligereza del mueble escandinavo, sus líneas simples aportan luminosidad y liviandad a los espacios. Grandes ventanales para multiplicar la luz y aumentar el calor en lugares de bajas temperaturas. La madera es el material principal para el mobiliario como para pavimento. 

The lightness of scandinavian furniture, its simple lines bring light and levity to the spaces. Large windows to multiply light and  increase hot  in places of low temperatures. Wood is the main material for furniture as pavement.

ARMONIA EN LA CONVIVENCIA DE ESTILOS/ HARMONY IN COEXISTENCE OF STYLES

 Una vivienda de tan sólo 54 m2 en Estocolmo donde convive la arquitectura centenaria de la vivienda con mobiliario y objetos de diferente índole. Espejos restaurados, así como la chimenea sueca combinan con elementos modernos como la cocina en tonos oscuros y líneas sencillas.

A house of only 54 m2 in Stockholm where he lives the centuries-old architecture of the house with furniture and objects of different kinds. Mirrors restored and Swedish fireplace combined with modern elements such as the kitchen in dark tones and simple lines.

HISTORIA DE UN APARTAMENTO: MEZCLA DE ESTILOS/ HISTORY OF AN APARTMENT: MIX STYLES

La vivienda,  construida en 1885 y situada en un barrio se Montreal, fue el lugar perfecto para una gran área de cocina y sala de estar. Los clientes querían un espacio centralizado para comer y entretenimiento. La isla de cocina contiene tres armarios de IKEA, reacondicionados con puertas personalizadas.

The house, built in 1885 and located in a neighborhood Montreal was the perfect place for a large kitchen area and living room. Customers wanted a centralized space for eating and entertainment. The kitchen island contains three IKEA cabinets, refurbished with custom doors.

REFORMA DE COCINA : AMPLIACIÓN HACIA LA LUZ:

Una reforma de una vivienda en la que la cocina había quedado pequeña y obsoleta y se decide realizar una ampliación hacia la zona de patio con un techo asimétrico  aportando luz gracias a los grandes ventanales y su orientación sureste  consiguiendo espacios cómodos.

A reform of a house where the kitchen had become too small and outdated and decides to make an extension to the patio area with an asymmetrical roof providing light thanks to the large windows and the southeast orientation getting comfortable spaces.

CASA EN IBIZA: INTEGRACIÓN EN EL ENTORNO/ HOUSE IN IBIZA: INTEGRATION IN THE ENVIRONMENT

Situado en el punto más alto de una parcela en la isla de Ibiza, esta vivienda unifamiliar, diseñado por  Laura torres Roa y Alfonso Miguel Caballero, se integra en el entorno natural. Una unión entre el interior y exterior, un solo bloque, rectangular orientada al sureste.
Se divide en cuatro áreas funcionales, organizada de forma sucesiva. 
Se seleccionaron los materiales según las tradiciones y regulaciones locales y proporcionan a la casa una discreta elegancia mediterránea.

Located at the highest point of a rural plot on the island of ibiza, this single family home, designed by Laura towers and Alfonso Roa Miguel Caballero, it is integrated into the natural environment. A union between interior and exterior, a single block, rectangular facing southeast.
It is divided into four functional areas, organized in succession.
materials were selected according to local traditions and regulations and give the house a discrete Mediterranean elegance.

REFORMA DE UN APARTAMENTO EN EL EIXAMPLE BARCELONÉS/ REMODELLING OF AN EIXAMPLE APARTMENT

El arquitecto catalán Adrian Elizalde ha reformado un apartamento de 1930 en  Eixample Barcelonés. Antes de su rehabilitación, el interior tenía habitaciones divididas en exceso y capas de material y modificaciones acumuladas, una arquitectura original  enmascarada que el equipo hizo recuperar, como las baldosas cerámicas originales, techos abovedados, y carpintería de madera.

The catalan architect Adrian Elizalde has renovated an apartment in Eixample from 1930. Before its renovation, the interior had divided excessively and accumulated layers of material and modifications rooms, original architecture masked the team did recover, as the original ceramic tiles, vaulted ceilings, and woodwork.

OBJETOS DEL PASADO Y EL LINO COMO HILO CONDUCTOR/ OBJECTS OF THE PAST AND THREAD LINEN

Una anticuaria  del mercado de pulgas de Lyon donde la mayor parte de su colección de ropa para el hogar, la hace ella misma. Establecido su taller en su casa,  recoge ropa de época para darle una segunda vida y le da un nuevo aspecto.
Su casa está situada lejos del ajetreo y el bullicio de Lyon y es un remanso de paz.
Los objetos de decoración  los coloca y los mueve, dependiendo de su estado de ánimo. Un estilo elegante donde la ropa es el hilo conductor.
