EN TORNO A LA NATURALEZA: VIVIENDA EN BUENOS AIRES/ AROUND THE NATURE: HOUSE IN BUENOS AIRES

Una vivienda que gira en torno a la naturaleza, totalmente abierta al jardín y grandes ventanales.
El edificio se construyó alrededor de los árboles.
La casa no posee adornos arquitectónicos. Realizado en dos niveles, expone vigas industriales, tuberías y suelos de hormigón.
Las paredes también están hechas de bloques de hormigón en bruto.
Lo que existía en el jardín fue preservada, el resto fue diseñado con plantas de fácil mantenimiento y bien aclimatado: plátano con hojas exuberantes y florecen entre acacias y jacarandas. Un amor por la la pureza de líneas simples.

A house that revolves around nature, totally open to the garden and large windows.
The building was built "around the trees,"
The house has no apparent architectural decorations. Built on two levels, it exposes industrial beams, pipes and concrete floors.
The walls are made of rough concrete blocks.
What was in the garden was preserved, the rest was designed with easy maintenance plants and well acclimatized: banana with lush leaves and flowering between acacias and jacarandas. A love for the purity of simple lines.

CASA DE VACACIONES CON VISTAS AL MAR/HOLIDAY HOUSE WITH SEA VIEWS

Manuel Aires Mateus ha diseñado esta vivienda aislada, con cuatro estructuras separadas.
La casa de vacaciones se encuentra por encima del pueblo portugués Sur de Melides, con vistas al mar. La propiedad se encuentra en un gran parque, con placa formada de hormigón utilizado durante la construcción del régimen.
De las cuatro estructuras, tres incluyen habitaciones dobles con cuarto de baño. El volumen final contiene la vivienda principal, junto a una cocina y un dormitorio doble con cuarto de baño contiguo.
Una interpretación minimalista del Alentejo portugués.

Manuel Aires Mateus  has designed this isolated house with four separate structures.
The holiday is over  Sur de Melides, Portuguese village, overlooking the sea. The property is located in a large park with plate formed concrete used during construction of the regime.
Of the four structures, including three double rooms with bathroom. The final volume contains the main house, with a kitchen and a double bedroom with adjoining bathroom.

REFORMA DE VIVIENDA EN L'EIXAMPLE: NOOK ARCHITECTS/ HOUSING REFORM IN EIXAMPLE: NOOK ARCHITECTS

La reforma de esta vivienda localizada en Barcelona y realizada por Nook Architects invierte la posición de la sala de estar y cocina y una gran abertura vertical se realizó en el muro de carga, mejorando la iluminación y la comunicación. Una nueva disposición permite que la luz penetre a las zonas más oscuras que están más lejos de la fachada. El salón y el dormitorio principal están separados por una gran puerta corredera que está pintada del mismo color que la pared y desaparece cuando está abierto. La parte superior de dicha pared está terminado con un espejo que crea la ilusión de que la partición no llega al techo y que el espacio continúa con sus vigas perpendicular a la fachada.

El proyecto recupera su techo abovedado y vigas de madera. Los materiales y los tonos tienen una apariencia muy natural: la madera para el el suelo en la sala de estar y dormitorios y mosaico hidráulico para cocina y baños. Algunos muros de carga se quedaron con el ladrillo visto y todo el apartamento es tratado con tonos de negro, ocre y grises.

The reform of this house located in Barcelona  by Nook Architects inverts the position of the living room and kitchen and a large vertical opening was held in the bearing wall, improving lighting and communication. A new provision allows light to penetrate the darker areas that are further from the facade. The living room and master bedroom are separated by a large sliding door is painted the same color as the wall and disappears when open. The top of this wall is finished with a mirror that creates the illusion that the partition does not reach the ceiling and the space continues with its beams perpendicular to the facade.

The project recovers its vaulted ceiling and wooden beams. The materials and the shades have a very natural appearance: wood for the floor in the living room and bedrooms and hydraulic mosaic for kitchen and bathrooms. Some load-bearing walls kept the brick and the whole apartment is treated with shades of black, ocher and gray.

UN ESTABLO TRANSFORMADO EN ESTUDIO Y HABITACIÓN DE HUÉSPEDES/ A STABLE AND TRANSFORMED IN STUDIO AND GUEST ROOM

Lo que fue un establo y garaje cuando fue comprado por los actuales propietarios de la propiedad, en las afueras de Seattle. Una pareja formada por dos artistas gráficos y pintor decidieron convertir el establo no utilizado en un espacio de estudio en el que poder trabajar y pintar y al mismo tiempo un espacio que funcionase como un espacio de invitados para los visitantes.

What it was once a stable and a garage when it was bought by the current owners of the property, on the outskirts of Seattle. A couple formed by graphic artists and painter decided to convert the stable not used in a flexible space that would work and study painting at the same time a space that would work as a guest space for visitors.

HORMIGÓN, MADERA Y PRÁCTICA VISION DE 360 GRADOS CON LA NATURALEZA/CONCRETE, WOOD AND PRACTICAL VISION OF 360 DEGREES WITH NATURE

Una vivienda ubicada en Tokio y diseñada por Naoi Architecture &Design Office. Afortunadamente para los propietarios, en el sitio adyacente  no puede construirse.
Como resultado de ello, los arquitectos querían crear un edificio de la cabaña como que se correspondiese con el paisaje circundante.

La planta principal consta de la zona de estar, zona de comedor / cocina y aseo. Los espacios se distribuyen en una configuración de dos niveles. El hormigón, marca  un contraste con el suelo de madera.

Las aberturas de la casa están equipadas con ventanas de rejilla, para enfatizar la relación del edificio con la naturaleza circundante.

A residence located in Tokyo and designed by Naoi Architecture & Design Office. Fortunately for homeowners in the adjacent site can not be built.

An old cottage in Sydney restored respecting its originals elements. Stone is the main material of all the rooms, where they combine with natural woods and marbles keeping clear tones and adding a contemporary feel thanks to items like cement.

Un ático con vistas privilegiadas y con un diseño en su mobiliario sin extravagancias y líneas simples. 

La madera preside gran parte de esta estancia y se contrarresta con materiales fríos como el cemento pulido o el textil en azul petróleo de la zona de sofás.

UNA ANTIGUA FÁBRICA AGRÍCOLA TRANSFORMADA EN VIVIENDA/ AN OLD FACTORY TRANSFORM IN HOUSING

Una antigua fábrica  agrícola transformada en vivienda preservando  el estilo original  de la construcción. Espacios que fueron utilizados para albergar herramientas o madera o donde existia un horno para hacer pan  se abandonaron durante años y ese espacio ahora lo ocupa la zona de cocina. Se mantuvieron los espacios sin aristas, con formas redondeadas.

 Una conservación de la arquitectura preexistente con un impacto mínimo. Se utilizaron accesorios de acero con recubrimiento de polvo blanco, incrustado en la mampostería para hacer su presencia menos aparente.

An old farm factory transformed int a house preserving the original style of the building. Spaces that were used to house tools or wood or where there was a bread oven deserted for years and that space now occupied the kitchen area. Spaces without edges, with rounded shapes remained.

  Preservation of the existing architecture with minimal impact. Steel fittings used with white powder coating, embedded in the masonry to make your presence less apparent.

Una vivienda que se adapta al clima templado. Una estructura de techo de paja y madera  que sirve como la pieza central del diseño y como unificación de los diversos  materiales que existen en el interior.

Materiales frescos como el cemento pulido y color en diferentes paneles de la vivienda como la zona de la cocina.

A housing which is adapted to warm climates. A thatched roof structure and timber that serves as the centerpiece of the design and as unification of the various materials that exist in the interior.

MEDITERRANEAN GHEST HOUSE

Realizada por Serge Castella, esta vivienda ofrece un ambiente mediterráneo, destacado sobretodo por su techo de cañizo, aportando frescura y aires estivales.

Un pavimento resistente y fresco es aportado por el cemento pulido, igual que los muebles de obra  que evocan a los antiguas construcciones d ellas casa de veraneo.

Esculturas africanas, corales y mimbre  acaban de complementar la decoración de la vivienda.
